With the launch of the Metro, their first compact stroller, they targeted urban parents seeking convenience and style. After several years, facing a highly saturated market, Ergobaby undertook a design-driven evolution, reintroducing the product as the Metro+. This iteration featured refined aesthetics and enhanced functionality, aligning with user needs and market trends to reinforce the brand’s competitive positioning.
DESIGN BRIEF: Enhance the overall design aesthetic to establish a more distinctive and recognizable brand identity. Implement comprehensive CMF (Color, Material, Finish) upgrades across both softgoods and hardgoods components, ensuring a cohesive and elevated appearance. Address all necessary functional improvements to optimize product performance, usability, and durability, aligning both form and function with the brand’s strategic goals.
